KUPENDO
Child Safety Standards Policy
Effective Date
Dec 5th 2025
Applies To
All Kupendo users, staff, contractors, and partners
1.

Purpose

Kupendo is committed to protecting minors and preventing any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) from appearing on our platform. This document outlines the standards, processes, enforcement protocols, and compliance requirements that guide Kupendo's operations to ensure a safe environment for all users.

2.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Kupendo strictly prohibits:

  • Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including AI-generated or manipulated CSAM
  • Imagery depicting minors in sexualized contexts
  • Content suggesting or facilitating child trafficking, grooming, or exploitation
  • Sexual communication with or about minors

Any user found engaging in these acts will be permanently banned, and confirmed content will be reported to the relevant legal authorities.

These prohibitions are published publicly in Kupendo's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Safety Center.

3.

Age Verification and Access Restrictions

Kupendo is strictly for users aged 18 and above.

To enforce this:

  1. Users must provide their date of birth during sign-up.
  2. If the calculated age is below 18, the user is immediately restricted from continuing the account creation process.
  3. The system blocks repeated signup attempts using the same credentials or device fingerprinting.
  4. Future updates will include optional ID verification for flagged cases or high-risk regions.

These steps ensure that minors cannot join or access the platform.

4.

User Reporting System

Kupendo provides an in-app reporting mechanism available on every profile and photo. Users can report:

  • Child pornography
  • Images suspected to contain minors
  • Child trafficking indicators
  • AI-generated CSAM or deepfake content
  • Suspicious profiles claiming to be under 18
  • Any behavior suggesting solicitation of minors

All reports are reviewed within 24 hours, with urgent CSAE reports prioritized for immediate action.

5.

Detection, Assessment & Removal Process

Upon receiving a report or automated flag:

5.1 Initial Review

  • The Safety Team assesses the content promptly.
  • If material appears to involve a minor, it is immediately removed, and the account is suspended pending investigation.

5.2 Confirmed CSAM Protocol

If content is confirmed to be CSAM or CSAE-related, Kupendo will:

  1. Immediately remove the material from all servers.
  2. Permanently ban the offending account and related accounts.
  3. Preserve metadata and logs in accordance with legal requirements.
  4. Report the incident to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority.

5.3 Use of Automated Systems

Kupendo will maintain automated systems to detect:

  • Underage-looking profiles
  • Potential CSAM
  • AI-generated CSAM patterns
  • Suspicious or grooming-related behavior (in future updates)
6.
